Founded in 1997, the Notre Dame Figure Skating Club (NDFSC) serves the communities of the University of Notre Dame, Saint Mary's College, and Holy Cross College. NDFSC is recognized as a club sport at the University of Notre Dame and was named the 2002 Notre Dame Athletic Club of the Year.

NDFSC is a member of United States Figure Skating (USFS); its Synchronized Skating Team currently competes in the Collegiate Division.

NDFSC participates in several events throughout the season. These include:

  • Intercollegiate Competitions
  • Synchronized Skating Competitions
  • NDFS's Annual Exhibition
  • Skating between periods at ND home hockey games
  • Guest skaters at local shows and exhibitions
  • Team dinners & outings
  • Home football game concession stand
  • Skate ND Clinic
  • End-of-Year Banquet and Awards

Skaters from all skill levels are welcome to join Notre Dame Figure Skating; however, it is recommended that skaters on the Synchronized Skating Team have passed Novice Moves in the Field.

The club practices at the Compton Family Ice Arena.
